CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS

All economics majors are eligible for membership in the Economics Club.  The club addresses current issues in economics, provides chances to meet professionals and explore career opportunities and offers students the opportunity to see economics in action by sponsoring trips to the New York Federal Reserve Bank, the American Stock Exchange, the United Nations and Washington DC. 

Omicron Delta Epsilon

Omicron Delta Epsilon, the only international honor society in economics, granted to the Economics department a chapter- Epsilon- in 1964.  Economics majors with a 3.0 grade point average overall and in economics are eligible to apply for membership in their junior year or after completing 12 credits in economics.

 Alpha Kappa Psi

Alpha Kappa Psi is the nation’s oldest professional business fraternity.  Founded in 1904, its purpose is to educate the public, the business community, and its members on the role of the free enterprise system and the ethical responsibilities in business. More than 200 chapters across the country welcome aspiring men and women to brotherhood.
